The Avalon VT-737SP is a mono tube preamp combined with an opto-compressor and 4-band EQ. Ideal for recording directly to tape, DAWs and digital recordings. It has three input selectors: balanced microphone, instrument DI, and balanced line input. The opto-compressor offers Class A tube triodes. The opto attenuator acts as a simple passive level control. The built-in spectral control (capable of de-essing) offers dual sweepable mid EQ capable of sidechain processing.
